About the Role

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to contribute to the development of modern, scalable and high-performance web applications.

You will work in a collaborative engineering environment, building and maintaining frontend applications, developing reusable UI components and improving application performance and user experience.

The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of a next-generation digital ecosystem focused on condition monitoring, working closely with developers and cross-functional product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern frontend applications using TypeScript and Svelte.
• Build reusable widgets, UI components and scalable frontend solutions.
• Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces that work seamlessly across different screen sizes and devices.
• Monitor, measure and continuously optimize frontend application performance.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Write, maintain and execute automated frontend tests, including Playwright tests.
• Make sound technical decisions considering overall product architecture, usability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with backend developers and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and frontend architecture decisions.
• Share technical knowledge and support other developers within the team.
• Explore and apply AI-powered development tools, including GitHub Copilot and reusable AI workflows.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and engineering processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Significant professional experience in frontend application development.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript.
• Hands-on development experience with Svelte.
• Experience building reusable UI components, widgets and frontend modules.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience developing responsive web applications.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimization, profiling and troubleshooting.
• Experience with automated testing and maintaining test suites using Playwright.
• Practical understanding of Kubernetes and containerized applications, including services running as pods.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and understand wider product requirements.
• Good understanding of Git and collaborative software development practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English is mandatory.
