The Booking Agency (launching August 2026, operated by Tara Trade International LLC, founded 2023) is the modern return to founder Monique van Bokkum’s roots running a talent booking agency from 2004 to 2014.

What it is

The Booking Agency is a talent booking platform for creative and event professionals across 160+ countries and 330,000+ cities. Photographers, DJs, videographers, event planners, and many other categories subscribe to be listed.

Clients browse profiles and post jobs at no cost. Talent set their own rates and terms; once a booking is confirmed, The Booking Agency handles the contract, payment, and payout as agent.

Founder

Monique van Bokkum brings a 27-year career across talent representation, media, and technology. From 1999 to 2019 she worked as a presenter, actress, model, and voice-over artist across the Netherlands, Spain, and the UK. From 2004 to 2014 she ran her first talent booking agency in the Netherlands, placing cast, crew, and performers into film, TV, brand campaigns, and live events.

After the agency she published a magazine, then spent a decade outside the industry, during which she joined a global HR tech company as ecosystem manager. She founded Tara Trade International LLC in 2023, began building The Booking Agency in 2025, and is launching it in August 2026 as the platform-shaped return to the talent-booking world. She is based in the Netherlands.
