At Riddlesdown, you would help look after a large, outstanding secondary school in Croydon (Ofsted, March 2023). You would work with the Facilities Manager and the team to keep our buildings and grounds in great condition: safe, clean, well maintained and ready for the day. When something needs fixing, you fix it. You would:
- Carry out maintenance and caretaking jobs across the buildings and grounds
- Spot problems early and put them right before they grow
- Open and lock up, and keep the site secure
- Work with contractors and suppliers
- Carry out safety checks and risk assessments
A well-kept site tells children and staff that this is a school that cares. You would help make that true every day.
About you
