You design systems such as fiber optic connections, radio systems, and network infrastructure that must operate under extreme offshore conditions. In doing so, you ensure seamless communication between substations, onshore stations, and grid operators. - You work under time pressure, within tight budgets, and according to strict requirements in terms of safety, scalability, and reliability. Of course, you are technically strong in your field, but you also understand the importance of collaboration. You easily connect with other disciplines such as electrical engineering, automation, and structural engineering, because your designs must integrate seamlessly. You will work in a multidisciplinary project team alongside the Lead Engineer and Project Manager.
