Payment Terms

These Payment Terms govern payments on bookingagency.io, operated by Tara Trade International LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as The Booking Agency ("we", "us", "our"). They are part of our Terms of Service.

There are two kinds of payment on the Platform: booking payments and subscription payments. They are governed separately below.

Part A - Booking payments

1. How a booking is paid

Bookings are made and paid through the Platform. The Client pays the quoted total, which is the Talent's rate plus the agency fee. The agency fee is charged to the Client, not to the Talent, and is shown before payment.

Payment is made through Stripe to the Talent's own Stripe account. The Booking Agency does not receive, hold or forward the money. The agency fee is collected from that payment when it is made and is borne by the Client. Stripe's payment processing fees are deducted from the Talent's payment by Stripe.

2. The fee

An agency fee applies to the booking and is charged to the Client, on top of the Talent's rate. The rate of the fee is set out in the Terms of Service. The Talent is the merchant of record. The Booking Agency does not set these fees and does not receive them.

The fee is flat across all profile tiers. A paid subscription does not reduce it.

3. Payouts

The money reaches your own Stripe account the moment the Client pays. What follows is the payout from that account to your bank. A payout is made once the work is confirmed, which is either when the Client confirms it or when the objection window closes without an objection, whichever comes first. As defined in our Refunds and Disputes Policy. Talent must complete Stripe onboarding before a payout can be released, and payouts are available only in supported payout countries.

4. Refunds on bookings

Refunds arising from cancellation follow the schedule in our Refunds and Disputes Policy and are calculated by the Platform at the moment of cancellation.

Part B - Subscription payments

5. What we charge for

Subscriptions are optional. Core use of the Platform, including publishing a free profile, searching, browsing city and category pages, and making a booking, does not require a subscription.

6. Prices

Current subscription pricing is displayed on bookingagency.io. The price shown at checkout is the price you will be charged.

Talent tiers:

Agency, Event Planner, and Recruiter tiers:

Prices may change. We will notify subscribers of price changes at least 30 days in advance. New prices apply at the next renewal.

7. Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method for each renewal at the then-current price. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge over a period of up to 14 days. If payment cannot be collected, we will downgrade your account to the free tier. Content you created during a paid period remains in your account and becomes visible again on successful payment.

Part C - General

9. Payment processor

All payment processing is handled by Stripe Inc. under Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy. We receive limited transaction metadata (billing address, last four digits of card, transaction status). Full card details are never stored by Tara Trade International LLC.

10. Taxes

Subscription prices shown do not include applicable taxes (including sales tax, VAT, GST, or local consumption taxes). Where we are required to collect taxes on a subscription, those taxes are added at checkout or invoice time.

Booking prices are different: the price displayed for a booking is the price the Client pays, and the agency fee charged to the Client is inclusive of VAT where VAT applies. Talent are responsible for their own tax obligations on the amounts they receive.

11. Currency

All prices are listed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Your bank may charge additional fees for currency conversion or international transactions. We are not responsible for those fees.

12. Chargebacks

A card dispute is raised with your own bank or card issuer, and they decide it. The Booking Agency is not a party to that process and cannot resolve, influence or speed it up. Merchant of record

The talent is the merchant of record for each booking. The Client pays the Talent directly and the payment is processed on the Talent's connected account. Where a connected account is left with a negative balance that cannot be recovered, Stripe bears that loss under the Platform's current Stripe configuration. The Booking Agency does not assume that loss and does not decide the outcome of a chargeback. Payment is processed to the talent through Stripe. The Client pays the agency fee. Stripe's payment processing fees are deducted from the Talent's payment by Stripe.

13. Governing Law

These Payment Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
