As a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will play a role in providing design leadership and discipline integration of projects delivered by the business. The company is part of an industrial conglomerate and it's history goes back 80 years. They are known for their hands on mentality, usage of modern design tools and inhouse manufacturing. Clients can be found globally and around 60% is offshore and 40% onshore based. As a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will play a role in providing design leadership and discipline integration of projects delivered by the business. You are expected to lead a team of 6 engineers by managing projects and mentoring less experienced engineers to produce design and associated deliverables for projects. As a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will cooperate and work closely with project managers and clients on technologically challenging projects. In order to be able to take on this diverse and technicaly challenging opportunity we are looking for somebody with the following profile: • Bachelor or Master degree Mechanical Engineering • At least 5 years of experience with complex mechanical constructions • Strong SolidEdge or SolidWorks experience • Managerial experience or capabilities We can offer you a unique opportunity to work for a succesfull worlwide leader and a challenging job with a competitive package.
