Farsley Farfield Primary School is seeking to appoint a Senior Learning Mentor at its busy campus just off the ring road on the border between Leeds and Bradford. The post-holder will lead a small team of part-time assistant mentors across its two sites, providing pastoral, safeguarding and family support for our diverse school community. We are a very inclusive school, with at least 30 children in receipt of funding for their SEND needs. Ofsted described our provision for SEND as ‘exceptional’. The inspector also described our safeguarding provision as ‘highly effective’ in her feedback. Can you help us to sustain and build on our excellent practice in these areas? The successful candidate needs to be the sort of person that is optimistic, imaginative and energetic. Experience of successfully leading family, pastoral and/or safeguarding support previously would be a significant advantage.
