- Producten HGV Standort: Reading Role: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Location: Reading, RG2 0QX Hours: 45 hours per week | 9 hours per day between 06:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday Salary: between £47,582.54 and £51,031.61 pa DOE We're looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our Aftermarket team, carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on our specialist fleet. This is a hands-on role where you'll use your technical expertise to diagnose faults, solve problems and deliver high-quality work that keeps vehicles safe, compliant and on the road. What we're looking for - Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance (or equivalent) - Experience maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills - Knowledge of vehicle electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems - Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams - A proactive approach to problem solving - Good communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively Ready to put your skills to work on vehicles that make a real difference every day?
