With 368 rooms, 2 restaurants, a spacious terrace, a stylish bar and 14 meeting rooms, Mercure Amsterdam City Hotel is looking for a parttime Team Member F&B (Waiter) to strengthen our team! What will you do? As a Team Member F&B, you are the face of our restaurant and bar. You welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure every guest enjoys an excellent experience. Your responsibilities include: • Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner; • Taking food and beverage orders; • Serving dishes and drinks; • Setting up and clearing tables; • Ensuring the restaurant is clean and presentable; • Working together with colleagues to deliver outstanding service. Most of your shifts will be evenings, although occasional breakfast shifts may be part of the schedule. Functie-eisen: Who are we looking for? We are looking for an enthusiastic hospitality lover who enjoys interacting with people and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You are: • Available on a parttime basis; • Flexible and willing to work mainly evening shifts, including weekends when needed; • Friendly, proactive and service-minded; • Comfortable communicating in English (Dutch is not required); • A team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality is a plus, but definitely not required. We are happy to teach you everything you need to know. This position is therefore also ideal as a side job alongside your studies.
