Thank you for showing an interest in the advertised position of Administrative Assistant at our school. This important role is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest standards of education and support to our children, families, and staff. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the school office, contributing to the overall efficiency and welcoming environment of our school.

We are seeking to appoint a flexible, committed individual to join our welcoming administrative team. Ideally you will have experience of working within a school office environment. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced administrative assistants who are looking to work in a small and friendly OFSTED rated ‘good’ school (2018) and DIOCESAN rated ‘outstanding’ school (2020.)

The successful person will have the following:

DBS
Medical clearance
Verification of qualifications and National Insurance number
Two references including a judgement about suitability to work with children
A member of the interview panel will be trained in implementing Child Protection procedures
In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024, online search be carried out
For teaching positions, barred list checks and prohibition from teaching checks will be carried out
For leadership positions, section 128 checks will be performed

Grade: Lancashire pay Grade 3, scale point range 3 - 4
Salary: £25,614.00 to £26,016.00 (FTE)
Hours: 25 per week
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
