About DCSA There are a whole range of challenges facing the container shipping industry today, from digitalization and complex regulations to cybersecurity and sustainability. These are issues that transcend individual companies and demand a collective voice through structural collaboration. That is why some of the biggest players in the maritime ecosystem - MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen, Yang Ming, HMM and ZIM - created the Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) in 2019. DCSA is a non-profit organization that lays the groundwork for industry-wide data exchange. All of DCSA's initiatives focus on making the container shipping industry more transparent, reliable, user-friendly, secure, and environmentally friendly. DCSA designs open-source standards and frameworks that streamline the data sending and receiving process and enable system interoperability.
