Food Technology Technician

Salary H4 -H5 - plus Outer fringe

(Dependant on relevant experience)

32.5 hours a week - Term Time only

Maternity vacancy - To start as soon as possible until July 2027

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Design & Technology department at our oversubscribed academy for students from 11 to 19 years of age, You will be supporting out Food Technology Teachers with the day to day running of our two Food classrooms, one of which is only 1 year old.

This is an important and busy role for someone who can uphold the ethos and standards established within the Academy in a calm and professional manner. We are looking for an individual with outstanding organisational skills and be able to support the Food team when required. You will need to be a team player but also be able to work independently and show great flexibility. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working with in a D & T environment or in a school environment. You will be well supported amongst an established and friendly Design & Technology team.

This vacancy will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of the right to work in the UK.
