From a raw material extraction site in Estonia to a substrate producer in the Netherlands: at RHP, you will have the unique opportunity to look behind the scenes at companies all over the world. You will learn all about growing media and their quality and sustainability, and gradually grow into a technical specialist in an international field. RHP is the international knowledge centre for potting soil and growing media. Our quality marks are used worldwide by substrate producers and raw material suppliers. From our office in 's-Gravenzande, the Netherlands, we work every day on the quality, safety and sustainability of growing media for professional horticulture and the consumer market. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a: Junior Technical Advisor Growing Media (32-40 hours per week) No two days are the same. One week you are on the road visiting producers or raw material locations; the next, you work with colleagues on analyses, research and improvement projects. What will you do? You will start with an extensive onboarding and training programme, working alongside experienced colleagues. Step by step, you will learn to: - assess raw materials, growing media and production processes - translate research results into practical applications - analyse quality issues - support producers with technical questions - prepare presentations and training sessions - visit companies in the Netherlands and abroad Who are we looking for? You do not need to be a specialist yet. What matters most is that you are curious, eager to learn and interested in technology, sustainability and horticulture.
