They are headquartered in Alkmaar and operate through an international distribution network. Productionfacilities and orderfulfilment locations are located across multiple countries. For them, we are looking for an Operational Excellence Specialist. As Operational Excellence Specialist you combine business analytics, Lean, DMAIC, Kaizen, and cross functional collaboration to drive transformation across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, and IT. You report to the COO. Role Focus for the first 1-2 Years The initial phase centers on building a sustainable continuous improvement culture from the ground up. You will be highly visible on the shop floor, working directly within operational processes and establishing credibility through practical improvements. Key focus areas are: - Working within manufacturing, warehousing, planning and supply chain processes to identify and implement improvements. - Building trust through action driven improvements, not just theory. - Facilitating Kaizen workshops, Brown Paper mapping and structured problem solving sessions. - Leading DMAIC improvement projects, from local challenges to international transformations. - Coaching teams in Lean methodologies and embedding CI capabilities. - Creating a culture where data driven decision making, standardization and continuous improvement become part of daily operations.
