About the Role
Join the Quality Control team at McNeil in Helsingborg to ensure high-quality production across our product line. In this hands-on laboratory role, you will perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products while maintaining compliance with strict regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine chemical analysis using instruments like HPLC and GC.
- Generate, analyze, and document lab data in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and Data Integrity guidelines.
- Support laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and method execution.
- Ensure precise, high-quality analytical testing to support product release schedules.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
Must Have:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a relevant scientific discipline.
- Laboratory Experience: Hands-on experience working in a analytical testing laboratory setting.
- Chromatography: Practical experience operating HPLC and/or GC systems.
- Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of GMP, Data Integrity, and GDP requirements.
- Languages: Professional fluency in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
Good to Have:
- Direct experience in a pharmaceutical Quality Control (QC) environment.
- Familiarity with major pharmacopoeias (Ph. Eur., USP, JP).
- Experience with laboratory software systems, specifically LIMS (LabWare) and Empower.
- Background in deviation management, laboratory investigations, and root cause analysis.
- A continuous improvement mindset (e.g., Lean, 5S, operational excellen
