Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation IT/OT Specialist
What You Will Work On
- Identify and evaluate automation opportunities within existing production facilities
- Analyze production equipment and recommend automation improvements
- Design and propose industrial automation solutions
- Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS)
- Prepare technical documentation and procurement specifications
- Support vendor selection and technical evaluations
- Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and system testing
- Support implementation and deployment of DCS-based automation solutions
- Evaluate automation technologies for future production systems
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT/OT teams
- Ensure compliance with automation standards and validation requirements
- Support system integration and industrial communication solutions
- Participate in change control and documentation activities
- Drive continuous improvements within automation and OT environments
What You Bring
- Several years of experience delivering automation solutions in manufacturing environments
- Strong expertise in Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Experience with DCS design, integration, implementation, and commissioning
- Good understanding of Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and automation networks
- Experience working in regulated industries with validation and documentation requirements
- Experience with change control and quality documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Ability to work across engineering and business teams
