Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of technical equipment is preferred. A vocational certificate or equivalent technical qualification is an advantage. However, for the right candidate, relevant practical experience, technical skills and personal qualities may compensate for formal qualifications. The role involves hands-on operational work, preventive maintenance and fault-finding as part of our ship hull cleaning operations. Experience from maritime, offshore, industrial or similar technical environments is an advantage. Full training on ECOsubsea's equipment and systems will be provided. Keep the world's ships clean, without polluting the sea. ECOsubsea cleans ship hulls in port and collects the biofouling instead of releasing it into the water. Cleaner hulls mean lower fuel consumption and lower emissions and our cleaning stations are what make it possible. We are looking for a hands-on and technically minded Service Technician to join our Operations Team. You will help ensure our cleaning stations are safe, ready and operational when vessels arrive, working with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment in an international maritime environment. The position follows a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, with 12-hour shifts during the working period. The role involves travelling and working at different locations. We provide full internal training and a clear development path towards Senior Service Technician and ROV Pilot. We value practical skills, reliability and the right attitude. For the right candidate, relevant experience and personal qualities may compensate for formal qualifications.
