We are looking for skilled Insulators to work on the construction and refit of luxury yachts and other vessels in modern Dutch shipyards. If you have solid experience with thermal and acoustic insulation, can work accurately from technical drawings, and take pride in high-quality finishing, this could be a strong long-term opportunity. What are you going to do? As a Shipyard Insulator , you will install, assemble, and finish insulation systems in naval and shipyard environments. You will work on different parts of vessels, including pipes, ducts, bulkheads, and technical installations. The work requires precision, technical understanding, and the ability to work safely in confined spaces, at heights, and within steel ship structures. Main Responsibilities - Installing thermal and acoustic insulation on pipes, ducts, bulkheads, and technical installations - Working with insulation materials such as mineral wool, Armaflex, PIR, and similar systems - Measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials accurately - Applying finishing layers such as cladding, sheet metal, or protective coverings - Reading and working from technical drawings - Working safely in confined spaces and at heights - Following all applicable shipyard safety procedures and regulations What can you expect from us? - Gross hourly wage between €17.00 - €22.00, depending on experience - Net weekly salary between €550 - €650 , based on a 40-hour working week - Full-time contract with long-term opportunities - Overtime possibilities for additional income - Weekly payment, including pension accrual from day one - 25 vacation days per year (20 paid vacation days + 5 paid weekly with salary) - 8% holiday allowance paid weekly with sa...
