Teaching Assistant

Wickersley Northfield Primary School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Positions Available: 3 x Teaching Assistant roles (27.5 hours per week)

2 x Permanent positions

1 x Maternity Cover position (until 31/05/2027)

The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and other colleagues to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing. They will help children to engage successfully in classroom learning, provide appropriate support for individual needs and encourage confidence, independence and positive attitudes to learning.

We are looking for someone who is warm, patient and positive; who works well as part of a team; and who is willing to learn and develop their practice. Above all, they will genuinely enjoy working with children and be committed to making a positive difference to their experience of school.
