St Augustine’s RC High School is a large and friendly school, under the Trusteeship of the Salford Diocese and part of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust, which welcomes pupils of all Christian denominations and world faiths or no faith. The main duties of the role will be to work with the teacher in a collaborative way, in meeting the personal, social and curriculum related needs of pupils, including those with special needs and/or bilingual needs, and to establish positive, supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community, and by contributing ideas and strategies. Has experience and the willingness to undergo training

Is confident in supporting vulnerable pupils

Is friendly and approachable Is a solid team player

Has the skill-set to work independently

Has excellent communication skills

Has the ability to work with children and their families in a sensitive and positive way

Has planning, organisational and IT skills
