About Box & Barber Coffee House

Box & Barber Coffee House brings a unique blend of community and quality to Newquay's cafe scene. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with a distinct surf culture aesthetic, making it an inspiring place to work. Best seating for productivity can be found at the larger communal tables or the window-side benches early in the day, offering good natural light. They pride themselves on serving high-quality specialty coffee, often from local roasters, alongside a delicious selection of freshly made sandwiches, pastries, and acai bowls – perfect for a working breakfast or light lunch. The crowd is a mix of locals, surfers, and increasingly, remote workers and digital nomads. Noise levels are generally moderate, with a pleasant hum of conversation and upbeat music, becoming livelier around lunchtime. A tip for remote workers: arrive early to snag a prime spot near an outlet. The engaging decor and friendly staff make it a standout choice for focused work.
