- Emerging or local DJs: $400 to $700 for a 4-hour set
- Established bar DJs with following: $700 to $1,200
- Genre specialists (Latin, house, hip-hop): $1,000 to $1,500+
Most bars provide the system. The DJ brings controllers and headphones.
Corporate Events ($1,500 to $5,000)
Corporate events require background music management, energy shifts across cocktail and dinner phases, professional attire, and reliability.
- Product launches, holiday parties (under 150 guests): $1,500 to $2,500
- Awards dinners, gala events (150 to 400 guests): $2,000 to $3,500
- Large-scale events (400+ guests): $3,000 to $5,000+
Wedding Receptions ($2,000 to $8,000)
Wedding DJs manage music across cocktail hour, dinner, first dance, cake cutting, and main reception, often serving as informal MC.
- Smaller or off-peak weddings (under 80 guests): $2,000 to $3,500
- Standard weddings (80 to 150 guests, peak season): $3,000 to $5,000
- Large or luxury weddings (150+ guests, full MCing): $5,000 to $8,000
