As a Metal Workshop Assistant, you'll have a varied role in which you'll be able to work across several departments. You'll learn the processes step by step and develop into an all-round employee. - You will operate a forklift truck and move materials, pallets and products safely around the workshop; - You will cut sheet metal to size and help ensure the production process is well planned; - You will bend and machine metal sheets according to technical drawings; - You will assist with setting up and operating the punching machine; - You will carefully pack products and prepare them for dispatch; - You will have the opportunity to learn how to carry out welding work.
