Senior Backend Python Engineer, mindIT HR Agency (on behalf of a confidential client)

Our client is transforming the commercial real estate financing space. Backed by leading venture capital firms and financial institutions, they have built an AI-powered platform that connects brokers and borrowers with the most suitable lenders for their deals, automating the most time-consuming steps of the financing process.

They are looking for a Senior Backend Python Engineer to join their engineering team and help scale their platform.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, scalable, and testable Python code.
• Maintain and improve the core Flask API and FastAPI microservices (including the AI Service and Email Service).
• Architect, design, and implement new features across the product roadmap.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, marketing, and engineering teams.
• Perform code reviews with teammates.
• Help define and document engineering best practices, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, velocity, and collaboration.
• Participate in interviews and help improve the hiring process.

• Proven experience building Python APIs with Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience working in product companies or startups, ideally in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
• Strong ability to take business ideas from whiteboard to production.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in Latin America; candidates based in Argentina are preferred.

• Experience with LLMs and building agentic AI applications.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with projects handling complex workflows.
• Previous experience in a high-growth company.
