You are the connecting factor between stakeholders (architects, structural engineers, government, clients) on one side, and the construction site (contractors and builders) on the other. You pull, push, massage, steer, and ensure that everything is completed within the given time, quality, and budget. Additionally, you work closely with the supervisor: your eyes and ears on the site. If things don't go as planned, you provide clear, practical advice to get all parties back on track without hesitation. If necessary, you're not afraid to assertively demand compliance. Ensuring the correct execution of the construction contract by the contracting parties is indeed your responsibility, and you take it very seriously.
