Dispute Resolution
Effective Date: May 1, 2026 Version: 6.1
This policy explains what disputes we handle and what disputes we do not handle. Bookingagency.io is operated by Tara Trade International LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as The Booking Agency ("we", "us", "our").
We are a discovery platform. We are not a marketplace.
The Booking Agency is an independent talent discovery platform. Talent publish profiles. Clients search and contact Talent directly. Bookings, contracts, scope, pricing, payments, and deliverables are arranged and executed entirely between the Talent and the Client. We are not a party to any booking or engagement.
We do not:
- Broker, mediate, or arbitrate disputes about the work itself
- Hold or escrow payments for Talent-Client engagements
- Decide who is right when a project goes wrong
- Refund money paid between Talent and Client
- Enforce contracts between Talent and Client
Disputes we do NOT handle
The following are outside our authority and we have no power to resolve them:
- A Client is unhappy with the deliverable a Talent provided
- A Talent has not been paid by a Client for completed work
- A Client cancelled a booking after deposits were paid
- A Talent did not show up or deliver what was promised
- Disagreements over project scope, timeline, or revisions
- IP ownership disputes about deliverables created off-platform
For any of the above, you must resolve directly with the other party or pursue civil remedies in the appropriate jurisdiction. We strongly recommend:
- Putting any engagement in a written agreement before work begins
- Using milestones and partial payments tied to deliverables
- Consulting a local attorney for high-value engagements
Disputes we DO handle
Limited to matters between you and us directly:
- Issues with your subscription billing
- Account suspension or termination questions
- Claims that platform features did not work as documented
- Refund requests under our Refund Policy
- Privacy or data protection requests under the Privacy Policy
- Reports that another user violated our Terms of Service (e.g., fraud, harassment, prohibited content)
How to raise a dispute with us
Step 1: Email us. Send the issue to hello@bookingagency.io describing the problem, what resolution you want, and any supporting documentation. We respond within 5 business days and try in good faith to resolve.
Step 2: Escalation. If unresolved after 30 days, a senior reviewer takes the matter and responds within 10 business days with our final platform position.
Step 3: Arbitration. If still unresolved, any remaining claim (other than injunctive relief or small claims under $500) is resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, conducted in Cheyenne, Wyoming or by videoconference at your election.
Reports of policy violations
If another user is engaging in fraud, harassment, doxxing, hate speech, or illegal activity on the platform, email hello@bookingagency.io with screenshots and the user URL. We investigate reports within 5 business days and may suspend or remove accounts that violate the Terms of Service. We do not award damages or compel payment; we only enforce platform access.
Class action waiver
You and Tara Trade International LLC agree any dispute between you and us is brought in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class action or representative proceeding.
