We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our team for a long-term project.
Project
A SaaS-based, data-driven eCommerce platform built on AI-powered, fully cloud-native technology for the North American market.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare test cases based on business and technical requirements
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites
- Configure test environments and perform application testing
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and analyze defects to identify their root causes
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure product quality
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance
- Proven experience in test automation
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Git, Playwright, GitHub Actions, and Postman
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience with MS SQL is a plus
- Software development experience and familiarity with JavaScript, Web Services, JSON, HTML5, XML, XSLT, XPath, and SOAP
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Analytical mindset
- Good written and spoken English
