We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join one of our software businesses within TAG Software Group.

Working alongside the Infrastructure Manager, you will design, implement, secure, and support cloud and on-premises infrastructure across multiple products and customer environments. You will play a key role in improving reliability, security, automation, and scalability while supporting mission-critical SaaS applications used by customers worldwide.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on engineer with experience in cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, automation, and DevOps practices, working closely with engineering, product, support, and customer success teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Manage and support infrastructure across multiple software products and customer environments.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical SaaS applications.
  • Implement infrastructure security best practices, including vulnerability management, access controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting tools.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.
  • Design, maintain, and troubleshoot networking components, including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and load balancing.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
  • Partner with Product, Support, and Customer Success teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues and improve customer experience.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new infrastructure technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident response for production environments as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles.
  • Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS.
  • Experience managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, VPNs, firewalls, and DNS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
  • Experience supporting production SaaS environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure or AWS certifications.
  • Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, compliance, and monitoring platforms.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing software platforms.
