About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable System Administrator to manage, secure, and evolve our infrastructure. This role goes beyond routine administration-you'll contribute to automation, resilience, and modern infrastructure practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Linux/Windows servers and enterprise systems
  • Design and optimize infrastructure for scalability and reliability
  • Automate operational tasks and system provisioning
  • Monitor systems proactively and respond to incidents
  • Implement security controls, compliance measures, and auditing
  • Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies
  • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and engineering teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows Server administration
  • Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes basics)
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging systems

Advanced / Rare Skills (Highly Valued)

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
  • Knowledge of immutable infrastructure and GitOps workflows
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster administration (not just usage)
  • Familiarity with low-level system internals (kernel tuning, cgroups, namespaces)
  • Experience with distributed systems troubleshooting (latency, replication, consensus issues)
  • Knowledge of zero-trust security architecture and identity-based access models
  • Experience with observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, tracing systems)
  • Familiarity with high-performance networking or load balancing at scale
  • Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation
  • Familiarity with edge computing or hybrid cloud setups
  • Knowledge of database administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL)
  • Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, AWS, CKA/CKAD

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • Flexible working environment
  • Opportunities for professional growth and certification
  • A collaborative and forward-thinking engineering culture
