Overview
Theater Play: Casting "Commedia dellarte," a two-act play that explores the themes of social class in an abstracted tragi-comedic nod to Commedia dell'arte. Set entirely in a single NYC building, different floors introduce different characters, who live in varying degrees of privilege and cultural capital, reimagined from the traditions of Commedia dell'arte: Harlequin, Pantalone, Captain and Pulcinella. Greed, ambiguity, failure, and dire economic realities funnel into a desperate, slapstick bid to make sense of the senseless, in turn becoming senseless itself. Casting 4 roles
