Overview
Film Short Film: Casting "Its Your Fault," is a short film set in 1980s Leicester. Follows AJ, a young Sikh factory worker navigating everyday racism while trying to keep his head down. At work, hes targeted by a hostile co-worker, but outside of that, he finds a sense of escape through Annie, a local girl who offers him a glimpse of something different. As tensions build and that hope begins to slip away, AJ is pushed toward a breaking point.The film explores themes of identity, belonging, and the impact of sustained prejudice, telling a story rooted in a real community that hasnt often been represented on screen.
