Overview
Film Student Film: Casting a remake of "Macbeth," set in a 1960s hippie era, but as a short film. This is a final project for a class at the College of Staten Island.Synopsis: The story follows David Macbeth, who meets a strange old woman walking through the street, telling him he will commit the horrible act, creeping him out. He kills his best friend, Michael (Banquo), whom he deeply cared about, because he falls in love with his friends girlfriend (Alma). When he finally gets to be with her, he feels guilty and mentally begins to hallucinate his friend everywhere he goes. He constantly stares at his hands, seeing blood and the horrible image of his friend's last moments. He confuses wine with blood, and he is constantly haunted by the moment of the murder. He loses himself completely and becomes consumed by the image of the dead body of his friend and the murder he committed. He never gets better, and this leads him to end his own life. Casting 2 roles
