Film Short Film: Logline: Linda, a brown actress pursuing her dream in Los Angeles, discovers that subtle differences in how shes treated reveal larger truths about microaggressions, belonging, and how people from different cultures navigate the American experience.Casting Note: This project seeks bold actors who are open to exploring sensitive themes with honesty and courage. We are looking for performers who are unafraid to engage with complex social dynamics and bring authenticity to nuanced material. Looking for local actors based in the San Fernando Valley OR in the greater Los Angeles, CA area who are willing to travel to the San Fernando Valley. No travel compensation. Must be local. Production plans for the project are to be submitted to short film festivals and distributed online. The project needs white-passing actors who come from diverse countries, such as Australia, England, Germany, and Russia, or who can convincingly imitate accents from some of these countries.
