POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Our client is an established global technology company specializing in design and engineering software solutions. Their products are used by professionals across multiple industries to design, visualize, and simulate ideas before they are physically built or produced. The company’s solutions support a wide range of user - from large enterprises to individual creators - and are accessible across desktop and mobile platforms.

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 
5+ years of experience as Software Development Engineer 

 

EDUCATION:
BS or MS in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in C++ development across multiple C++ standards and related technologies, including C++/CLI
  • Experience developing C++ solutions for CAD data translation and interoperability using technologies such as Autodesk Translation Framework (ATF) and ODA IFC SDK
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, and computational geometry
  • Strong knowledge of the C++ Standard Library (STL) and Boost
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design principles and common software architecture patterns
  • Proficiency with common C++ development tools and environments (e.g., Git, Visual Studio, CMake and Jenkins CI)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex, performance-critical systems
  • Intermediate+ English level

     

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with AutoCAD Architecture and AutoCAD MEP
  • Hands-on experience developing or extending solutions for CAD platforms such as Siemens NX, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA V5, or SOLIDWORKS, including API-based customization, automation, and workflow integration.
  • Understanding of Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, including their role in engineering and manufacturing environments, data management, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience applying computational geometry algorithms to solid modeling, visualization, simulation, or other geometry-intensive applications 
  • Knowledge of computer graphics concepts and experience with graphics technologies such as OpenGL, WebGL, or Three.js
  • Developing new features and enhancing existing functionality
  • Automating processes to streamline workflows
  • Fixing software issues and ensuring system stability
  • Refactoring code to improve quality and performance
  • Supporting customers and addressing their technical needs
