Our team is responsible for a wide range of tasks - from managing access and providing compute resources and internal services to developing infrastructure projects and automation.This job is perfect for you if you:Have a solid foundation in Linux systems and networkingAre eager to expand your knowledge of new technologiesAre able to independently investigate problems, troubleshoot them, and come up with solutionsAre committed to helping people resolve their issuesAre passionate about infrastructure, DevOps, and system administrationResponsibilitiesAs part of the Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for tracking and resolving tasks such as:User management, including onboarding, offboarding, and access managementProvisioning new hosts and maintaining existing production servers across bare metal, public cloud, and private cloud environmentsManaging DNS records, domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and decommissioningPerforming security-related tasks, including firewall configuration and regular operating system updatesMonitoring infrastructure, responding to alerts and incidents, and ensuring minimal disruption to servicesHandling requests through the Jira ticketing system within agreed response timesCreating new services and integrating them into the existing infrastructure based on specifications provided by development teamsDeveloping and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate routine administration tasksWriting and maintaining clear documentation for services, tasks, and proceduresRequirementsGood working knowledge of RHEL-based operating systems, including CentOS and AlmaLinuxSolid understanding of networking fundamentalsExperience with different compute environments, including bare metal servers, virtual machines, and containersBasic understanding of infrastructure and service monitoringFamiliarity with Ansible or other configuration management toolsProficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentationAbility and eagerness to learn new concepts quickly, investigate problems independently, and find effective solutionsNice to have: The following skills are considered an advantage but are not mandatory:Experience with at least one commercial cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCPFamiliarity with a scripting language such as Bash or PythonExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or JenkinsFamiliarity with the Git version control systemFamiliarity with FreeIPA, LDAP, or Google Workspace administrationBenefitsWhat's in it for you?A focus on professional development.Interesting and challenging projects.Fully remote work with flexible working hours, that allows you to schedule your day and work from any location worldwide.Paid 24 days of vacation per year, 10 days of national holidays, and unlimited sick leaves.Compensation for private medical insurance.Co-working and gym/sports reimbursement.Budget for education.The opportunity to receive a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent.By applying for this position, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy (https://cloudlinux.com/candidate-privacy-notice), which provides detailed information on how we maintain and handle your data.
