Join a Canadian fintech and banking project as a Junior Java Developer (Production Support).
No commercial experience is required-just a solid understanding of Java and a willingness to learn.

Requirements
- Good knowledge of Java Core and object-oriented programming.
- Basic understanding of Spring Boot and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with SQL and Git.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and the ability to read application logs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems and respond to alerts using Datadog and PagerDuty.
- Investigate production incidents and perform initial troubleshooting.
- Analyse application and infrastructure logs in AWS CloudWatch.
- Escalate issues to Development or DevOps teams when needed.
- Create and update tickets in ServiceNow.
- Configure and maintain dashboards, monitors, and alerts in Datadog.
- Document incident resolutions and update the internal knowledge base.
- Participate in shift handovers and post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate with Java Developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure system stability.
