Middle Manual QA Engineer

Mirko Solutions is an international IT company specializing in web and mobile development for clients across the US, Canada, EU, and Australia. We are growing rapidly and are looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our web and mobile applications.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile processes
• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, checklists, test plans, bug reports)
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP protocols
• Experience performing functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and acceptance testing
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and experience validating interfaces using Figma
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for troubleshooting UI issues
• Experience working with SQL for basic database validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Attention to detail and ownership mindset

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android)
• Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts or frameworks
• Experience with browser DevTools
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes
• Basic understanding of JavaScript
• Experience working with performance or security testing tools

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases, checklists, and test scenarios
• Conduct functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and acceptance testing
• Validate new features and ensure existing functionality remains stable
• Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools
• Report, document, and track defects throughout their lifecycle
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases
• Collaborate closely with developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Designers
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and QA estimations
• Maintain testing documentation and continuously improve QA processes
• Ensure delivered products meet quality standards and business requirements
