Project Description
Join a team building the digital platform behind one of the largest quick-service restaurant brands in the U.S. You'll work on a modern, cloud-native ecosystem that powers mobile apps, web platforms, self-service kiosks, and delivery experiences at scale.
This project focuses on cloud modernization, high-performance backend services, and seamless API integrations, with an emphasis on delivering reliable, scalable, and user-centric digital solutions.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript for backend and middleware development.
- Proven experience designing and building API Gateways, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architectures, or middleware orchestration layers.
- Solid understanding of API integration patterns, including RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous communication.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance a unified Node.js middleware layer to enable seamless integration across multiple backend services.
- Build scalable, high-performance API integrations that support web, mobile, and other digital channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute to cloud-native architecture and modernization initiatives, following engineering best practices.
