About the Role:
As QA Automation Lead, you will establish and grow the automation function from the ground up. You will take full ownership of automation strategy, framework design, pipeline integration, and team hiring. In the first months, you will be hands-on - writing and reviewing test code, configuring CI/CD, and guiding defect triage - while building processes and standards that ensure high test coverage and fast feedback on every pull request. You will collaborate closely with engineers and product managers, translate requirements into test plans, and mentor QA engineers. Your work will directly impact release quality, deployment velocity, and team efficiency in a fast-paced environment where production errors have significant cost.
