At UAI Labs, we build intelligent automation and AI solutions that help companies work smarter, faster, and at scale. We partner with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies to fix broken and inefficient processes using a practical mix of RPA, AI and process redesign. With the focus on real business impact, not quick fixes. As a fast-growing startup, we work on diverse, high-impact challenges and turn ambitious ideas into solutions that truly scale.

About the Role

As a UiPath Developer, you design, build, and run automation solutions that solve real business problems across our clients’ operations. We hire at medium and senior level; scope and rate follow experience. Business Analysts lead discovery and requirements gathering; you translate documented processes into robust, maintainable workflows and own them in production.

  • Design solutions: Analyze business processes and recommend the right automation approach for each use case: RPA, API integration, or a hybrid.
  • Build and integrate: Develop and deploy automations in UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots), with supporting work in Python, C#, or VB.NET, and REST API integrations to third-party systems.
  • Release and run: Own your automations end to end in production: monitoring, exception handling, incident resolution, maintenance, and performance optimization.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years (medium) or 5+ years (senior) of hands-on RPA development experience
  • Strong UiPath proficiency: Studio, Orchestrator, and REFramework are required
  • You have taken at least one automation from PDD to stable production
  • Working knowledge of Python, C#, or VB.NET for custom components and integrations
  • Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON, and common integration patterns
  • Familiarity with PDD/SDD documentation and structured development lifecycles
  • Understanding of exception handling, logging, and production support practices
  • Professional English communication skills, spoken and written

    At Senior Level, Additionally

  • Incident ownership and structured client communication during hypercare and run phases
  • Reviewing solution designs and mentoring other developers

    Nice to Have

  • UiPath Certified Professional (Automation Developer Associate or Automation Developer Professional)
  • Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere background: strong developers on these platforms who want to cross-train to UiPath are explicitly welcome to apply
  • Experience with LLM APIs (for example Claude or OpenAI), IDP, or agentic automation components
  • Exposure to process mining or Power Automate

Our Stack and How We Work

  • UiPath: Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, Document Understanding (IDP), Agentic automation
  • Structured delivery lifecycle: PDD (Process Definition Document), SDD (Solution Design Document), code review, and defined quality gates within a build-release-run delivery model
  • Remote-first, distributed team across Europe
  • Direct collaboration with client stakeholders in Europe

Who You Are

  • A detail-oriented builder who writes clean, reusable, and well-documented automations
  • You take ownership from requirements handoff through to stable production runs
  • Comfortable troubleshooting issues independently and escalating clearly when needed
  • You collaborate effectively with Business Analysts and business stakeholders to get the details right
  • Curious and eager to grow into broader automation and AI engineering work over time

    Why This Role Is Different

  • End-to-end ownership: You take automations from design through build, release, and run and you see the impact of your work with the client firsthand.
  • A real AI growth path: Our delivery increasingly combines UiPath with LLM APIs, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and agentic components. You grow into AI engineering work instead of staying boxed into classic RPA.

Practical Details

  • Remote, B2B contract, working hours within CET plus or minus 2
  • Direct client interaction is expected
  • You will work under client data protection agreements and structured access controls

    Our hiring process:
Application review → Screening call (30 min) → Technical interview → Final interview with leadership → Reference check → Offer
    Typical timeline: 3-4 weeks

At UAI Labs, we value diversity and encourage qualified applicants of every background, ability, and life experience to apply. Don't check every box above? If you're strong on the core Skills and Qualifications, we'd still love to hear from you
